God sees the truth but waits
The story "God sees the truth but waits"was written by Leo Tolstoy. He was from Russia. He was born on 9 September 1828. He leave the world on 20 November 1910. He was a Russian writer and a master of realistic fiction.
In this story there is a man who is suffering from sorrow. He was cheated and put on jail for 26 years. According to the title of the story the man was waiting for the god's decision. In the end of the story, the God has given the justic. So he used to say God sees the truth but waits.
A sad man story is presented in the story by writer. This story is about young merchant named as Ivan Dmitrich Aksinov. And he lived on Vladimir city of Russia. He was main character of the story.
He was arrested in a crime of murder. But he was not real murderer. And he was to suffer from punish of others crime. He says, "one day, the truth will win even it took too many decades.
Ivan was good person and he has two shop. He loved singing and has a lot of humanity. He used to drunk a lot before marriage and did quarreling. After marriage he stop drinking. He has a wife with children.
One summer day, he planned to shell his goods in Nizhny fair. His wife doesn't let him to go because she saw a bad dream last night. After listining to his wife Ivan laughed and give good sign of her wife's dream. And he started his journey by promising to bring something for her wife.
On the way he found his well known merchant. They spent that night together. They drunk there. Next day he leaved the place with horses and driver. In the way after 25 miles he stopped to fedding horse. When he was playing guitar two soilder and some officer came there and ask him that with whom did the merchant sleep last night. They say about the dead of merchant whom do he sleep last night. And he was dead on same room. They took aksinov to same room and start checking bag. They found knives with boold. Aksinoe start stammered of frighten. He was the suspect of the crime and he was charged as he rob 8000 rubbles. Then he was binded and took to jail. His wife and children came to met him. After seeing aksinov his wife fell down and did not come to her sense for a long time. She saw him with criminals dress. The application of peptition to czar was rejected. Aksinov felt sad. And last time he said, "good bye" to his family.
Now only god can do something miracle for him. Then he was to suffer from many problems. Siberia court punished him for 26 years jail life. Slowly his hair and bread began to be white. He was turning to more weak by doing hard labour. He stop laughing freely. He leaned to make shoes inside the jail and earn some money. He buy books named as, "The lives of sense" from those money. Then he start reading the lesson of the story. He used to read the book every Sunday. Other prisoner respect him called as grand pa. If the prisoner have fight each other, other prisoner come to him for justic.
One day new group of prisoner come on the jail. One of them was Marker Semyonich. He was about 60 years old. He was tall and strong. His hair was brown. He said that he was arrested deu to crime of robbing horse. He was from Vladimir city.
The night he couldn't sleep because of the marker's story. He was conformed that the murderer of the merchant was Marker. He began to remember his past.
After a moth he knowed that marker killed merchant in a risin city. Even he was angry from Marker, he don't talk to him about murder. One day marker was digging the tunnel on the jail. But the aksinov was watching that. So he warn aksinov not to say anyone in this topic otherwise he will kill aksinov. Aksinov wasn't fear of hid warning. Next day when some soilder came to know about tunnel, they inquired to some prisoners. When aksinov was asked he say nothing. That night marker goes to aksinov and beg to forgive his crime. And he say all about merchant dead. Aksinov stay silent. Marker knelt upon ground and asked for forgive. He confesz the truth to the officers and bow his head. Aksinov weeped by seeing Marker situation. Aksinov was ordered to be free from jail now. But aksinov has already loss his wife and family.
