The poem red,red rose written by Robert Burns is a love poem that expresses the love of the speaker towards his beloved.In the poem he compare his beloved with beautiful,fresh,delicate red rose of June .Likely he compared his beloved with sweet melody that is sweetly played in tune.

The speaker praised her beauty and made different promises to fulfill.He promised that he would love her until the entire seas in the planet have become dry.He also promised that he would love her till the rock in this planet melted with heat of Sun.It means he would love her until the end of human life.

Finally,at the time of separation he wished for a good life and bright future of his lover.He said her good bye and promised that he would love truely to her though physically far for sometime.
